Dec 22, 2019 · I never set up a user name or password for windows security, but inspite of that, I tried using the user name (admin), password (admin) that my router suggests I use for accessing the router. Didn’t work. Now in looking at this WD community, I can’t find any help re: the easystore series of external drives.

i have been trying to access the WD router setting site to change my admin password and nothing seems to work. wdrouter doesn’t work, neither does the IP 192.168.1.1 i have no idea how else to access my setting.
